Have you  ever wished you could permanently and beautifully personalized something you own or want to give as a gift? Me too! With the glowforge I have finally found the right tool for the job. I can create a fitting design in my favorite design program and transfer it onto a wide range of objects, either directly or indirectly. I can directly engrave flat objects that fit inside the laser cutter, but alternatively I can create stencils and use paints or a sandblaster or an oxidizer or a router… there are almost endless possibilities. One of my favorite mediums currently is slate.
